The constitution of Kilcock Golf Club defines the following types of youth membership:
Shall comprise persons who are under 10 years of age and who are relatives of an existing Member. Detailed rules on the restrictions and playing rights for this type of member will be determined by the JMC.
Shall comprise persons whose age at the date of renewal/election shall not be less than ten years or greater than fourteen years. A Juvenile who has attained the age of fourteen years during the club year will be eligible to transfer to Junior Membership subject to the payment of the pro-rated difference in fee levels.
Shall comprise persons whose age at the date of renewal/election or on transfer shall not be less than fourteen years or greater than eighteen years. Persons under the age of fourteen years may, in exceptional circumstances, be admitted to junior membership. Such decision shall be at the discretion of the JMC on recommendation from the Men’s or Ladies’ Committee, as appropriate.
Shall comprise persons whose age at the date of renewal/election or on transfer shall not be less than eighteen years or greater than twenty four years and who are receiving full time education in school, college or university, or who are articled to any professional body or who are serving their apprenticeship to any recognised trade. Students who take time out from any of the above may continue to play as student members, only with the approval of the Joint Management Committee.
Shall comprise persons whose age at the time of renewal is not less than twenty one years or greater than twenty four years, who have progressed from the junior ranks and have a minimum of five years participation as a junior member of Kilcock Golf Club. Intermediate members will be treated as having the same playing rights as full members in competitions. They are not allowed to vote at the Men’s or Ladies’ AGM or EGM.
